Bonnie Sue Owen of Wichita Falls


Bonnie Sue Owen, 75, of Wichita Falls, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 27, at Hope Cemetery in Henrietta, with Jack Byas, nephew, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis Funeral Home of Henrietta.

Mrs. Owen was born July 6, 1937 in Ryan, Okla., to Lillard Elmo and Cleatus Jewel (Lawyer) Thompson. She married Dave Owen on July 20, 1955 in Nocona. Mrs. Owen was a partner in Bonnie’s Bouquets in Wichita Falls.

She is preceded in death by her husband Dave Owen; three sisters, Jean Byas, Bobbie Underwood and Eddie McLendon; and a great grandson, Cayden Owen.

Survivors include three sons, David Owen and wife Debbie of Wichita Falls, Steve (Bo) Owen of Wichita Falls, and Todd Owen of Wichita Falls; two brothers, Bill Thompson and wife Fern of Lake Worth, and Cliff Thompson and wife Kaye of Lake Worth; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

The family will be at Davis Funeral Home on Tuesday from 7-8 p.m.
