Nine enter plea agreements

The 97th District Court accepted plea agreements Tuesday, Feb. 19 from nine defendants. Two defendants, Shelvie Darnell Cleveland and Travis Patrick Williams, pled to two cases each.

Shelvie Darnell Cleveland — Possession of marijuana, more than 5 pounds, less than 50 pounds, a third-degree felony, for a Feb. 13, 2012 offense. Cleveland was sentenced to three years in prison, to run concurrently with a prison sentence for evading arrest or detention with a vehicle.

Travis Patrick Williams — Driving while intoxicated, third or more offense, a third-degree felony, for an Oct. 15 offense. Williams was sentenced to five years community supervision, to run concurrently with a sentence of community supervision for evading arrest or detention with a vehicle, and must pay $60 restitution.

Travis Patrick Williams — Evading arrest or detention with a vehicle, a third-degree felony, for an Oct. 15 offense. Williams was sentenced to five years community supervision, to run concurrently with a sentence of community supervision for driving while intoxicated, third or more offense, and a fine of $2,500.

Anthony Scott Taptto — Driving while intoxicated with a child under 15 years of age, a state jail felony, for a Feb. 25, 2012 offense. Taptto was sentenced to four years community supervision, fined $2,500 and will pay restitution of $60.

Stephanie Cardnellia Norseworthy — Evading arrest or detention with a vehicle, a third-degree felony, for a Sept. 23 offense. Norseworthy received four years community supervision and a fine of $750.

Michael Earl Arbuckle — Theft of property greater than $1,500, less than $20,000, a state jail felony, for a Sept. 26 offense. Arbuckle was sentenced to 12 months in state jail, and credited with 146 days.

Mitchell Ryan Routon — Theft of property greater than $1,500, less than $20,000, a state jail felony, for a Sept. 26 offense. Routon was sentenced to 12 months in state jail.

Lisa Diann Townlin — Judgment adjudicating guilt of possession and transport of chemicals with intent to manufacture a controlled substance, penalty group 1, a second-degree felony, for a Nov. 29, 2010 offense. Townlin failed to comply after receiving two years community supervision on Sept. 14, 2011. Townlin received an additional five years community supervision, and must pay $900 in accrued probation fees and $140 restitution.

Trennis Dewayne Alexander — Driving while intoxicated, third or more offense, a third-degree felony, for a July 17 offense. Alexander was sentenced to five years in prison and credited with 218 days, and will pay restitution of $60.

James Michael Frazier — Driving while intoxicated, third or more offense, a third-degree felony, for a Sept. 19 offense. Frazier was sentenced to eight years in prison and restitution of $60.
