Mildred Marie Allen of Old Glory


Mildred Marie Allen, 87, of Old Glory, Texas, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, in Stamford.

Family visitation will be at Davis Funeral Home Monday, Feb. 18 from 6-7:30 p.m. Private family services will be held at a later date under the direction of Davis Funeral Home of Henrietta.

Mrs. Allen was born Oct. 29, 1925 in Clay County to John Robert “Bob” and Annie Marguerite (Witte) Graves.

Survivors include her husband Dr. Barry W. Allen of Old Glory; two sons, Gerald Ashbrook and wife Patricia of Corpus Christi, and Boyce Ed Ashbrook; one sister, Doris Mercer and her husband Jim of Elmore City, Okla.; two brothers, Wayne Graves and his wife Louise of Kennesaw, Ga., and Harold Graves and wife Judy of Gahanna, Ohio.

She is preceded in death by a husband, Ed Ashbrook; and one sister, Tennie Jo Graves.
