Bill Schenk of Henrietta


William Gerard “Bill” Schenk, II, 52, of Henrietta, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013 in Henrietta.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 16 at the First United Methodist Church of Henrietta with Rev. Chris Dowd, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Hurnville Cemetery under the direction of Davis Funeral Home of Henrietta.

Mr. Schenk was born on Feb. 13, 1961 at the U.S. Air Force base in Tachikawa, Japan, to William Gerard and Sue (McKinstry) Schenk. He served in the U.S. Air Force and married Pam Blanscet on Jan. 13, 1988 at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls. He was a licensed aircraft mechanic at Sheppard AFB, where he worked as crew chief instructor on B-52 planes. Mr. Schenk then worked for Four Star Auto Ranch for nine years in the service department where he received several national awards through Chevrolet. He was employed by Edwards Consulting Agency in Charlotte, N.C., where he consulted for fixed base operations on the Eastern Seaboard and nationwide. At the Vernon College Tech School, he created an Electrical Aircraft Program. He was presently the owner and operator of ReBoot Computers in Henrietta where he worked as a computer technician.

Mr. Schenk is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include wife Pam Schenk of Henrietta; two brothers, Bobby Schenk and wife Sherry of Coco, Fla., and Rusty Schenk of Indian Springs, Ala.; one sister, Susan Schenk Bowen of Nashville, Tenn.; seven nieces and nephews, and one great-niece and four great-nephews.

The family will be at Davis Funeral Home on Friday from 7-8:30 p.m.
