Jimmy Herrod of Neosho, Mo.


Jimmy W. Harrod, 58, formerly of Henrietta, passed away Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013 in Neosho, Mo.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11 at the First Baptist Church of Henrietta, with Rev. Randy Osborn, Pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery under the direction of Davis Funeral Home of Henrietta.

Mr. Harrod was born Feb. 10, 1954 in Altus, Okla. to Ernest Dean and Betty Lou (Rogers) Harrod. He married Patricia Smith in October 2005 in Henrietta. Mr. Harrod was a retired business manager and a member of the First Baptist Church of Henrietta. He served in the U.S. Navy.

He is preceded in death by his Father and his wife Ann Harrod.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Harrod of Neosho, Mo.; a daughter, Elizabeth Harrod of Wichita Falls; mother, Betty Byars and husband Kenneth of Devol, Okla.; sister, Janet Hardegree of Denton; two stepsons, James Wolfe and wife Melissa of McKinney, and Paul Aultman and wife Katie of Fort Worth; and four step-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday, Feb. 10 from 7-8:30 p.m.
