Lillie Mae Corder of Bellflower, Calif.


Lillie Mae (Fuhrman) Corder, 90, of Bellflower, Calif., died Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, in Branson, Mo.

Graveside services were held Monday, Jan. 21 at the California City Cemetery in California, Mo.

Mrs. Corder was born Nov. 6, 1922 in Hurnville to Fred and Maggie (Moser) Fuhrman. For many years, she traveled to Henrietta from Bellflower, Calif., for the Clay County Pioneer Reunion, and often won the award for Pioneer who traveled the farthest to attend. She last registered as a Pioneer in 2011.

She is preceded in death by a brother, Eugene (Buddy) Fuhrman of Dean.

Survivors include a son, Gerald Richard Corder, Jr., and wife Tamara of Littleton, Colo.; a daughter, Patricia Reagan of Branson, Mo.; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
