Wayne Barfield of Bellevue


Wayne Barfield, 73, of Bellevue, died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, in Wichita Falls.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28 at Cumby Cemetery in Park Springs, under the direction of White Family Funeral Home of Bowie.

Mr. Barfield was born March 18, 1939 in Fort Worth to Herman and Anna (Woods) Barfield. He worked for Central Air Lines in Fort Worth, and later for Ling Temco Vought for more than 25 years. He married Margie Earp on Jan. 17, 1959 in Fort Worth. Wayne enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing, and was an avid coin collector.

He is survived by his wife, Margie Barfield of Bellevue; a daughter, Connie Montgomery and husband Mike of Bellevue; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27 at White Family Funeral Home.
