Petrolia man sought on charge indecency with a child; believed to be dangerous


The Clay County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a 51-year-old Petrolia man accused of molesting a child under the age of 17.


Norman Lee Olson, II, was last seen at Flying J Truck Stop in Wichita Falls at 4:30 a.m. Friday, according to the Times Record News. Olson is 5 feet, 10 inches tall and 225 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a camouflage, hooded jacket with blue jeans and white tennis shoes.

Olson is believed to be armed with a 12-gauge shotgun.

Olson’s van was found near the Wichita River on Wednesday, Jan. 22, the same day an arrest warrant was issued in his name.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office began its investigation on Tuesday, Jan. 22.
