Henrietta Junior High’s seventh and eighth grade “B” teams joined forces to place third in the Terral, Okla., tournament last weekend, falling to Windthorst 17-11 in the first game and defeated Gold-Burg 24-23 in double overtime for third place.
Against Windthorst, Trey Davis led all scorers with seven points including a three-point basket. Garret Duncan scored three points and Cody Franklin had a free throw.
In the double overtime game, Davis led the charges again with 11 points including another three-point basket, Brayden McDonald and Brayden Headrick each hit from three-point range and finished with four and three points respectively. Duncan scored four points for the Bearcats and JC Smith had a bucket in overtime.
