Lady Cats threaten Holliday, fall in fourth quarter

With a double-double from Anni Scholl, Henrietta gave Holliday a run Tuesday night, but came up short, 44-38.
Down 28-23 to close the third quarter, Henrietta came back to within two of taking a lead in the fourth, but struggled from the free throw line down the stretch. The Lady Cats hit seven of 19 free throw attempts in the game.

Henrietta took a 6-2 lead in the first quarter, but Holliday came back strong in the second to outscore the Lady Cats 14-8, and 12-9 in the third. Holliday outscored Henrietta 16-15 in the final period.

Scholl finished with 19 points and 13 rebounds. 
Kamryn Weaver followed with seven points, while Cheyenne Barry added six. Annelise Sauer, Katie Jo Blanscet and Andi Stewart scored two points each. Blanscet came away with eighth rebounds, while Barry had four.

With the loss, Henrietta falls to 1-5 in District 8-2A.

Henrietta’s JV Lady Cats earned a 26-16 win over Holliday. Jessica Mabry scored nine for the Lady Cats, followed by Bree Pollan with seven.
