Henrietta limited Valley View to single-digit scoring in all four quarters Tuesday night as the Bearcats dominated the Eagles in an 84-14 game.
Henrietta broke the 20-point mark in three quarters, outscoring Valley View 25-4 in the first, 22-2 in the second, 22-2 in the third and 15-6 in the fourth quarter.
Nick Powell and Matthew Reed scored 19 points each to lead the Bearcats. Ben Fletcher added 14 points. Cole Burns and Dalton Davidson scored nine each. Conner Fletcher and Philip Davis scored five each. Myles Marchman and Kaleb Gwinn scored two points each.
The Bearcats hit three of five free throw attempts. Henrietta totaled 45 rebounds, 18 turnovers and 23 steals.
Burns finished with 10 rebounds, followed by Reed with nine. Burns also led the team in steals with seven. Davis had six assists.
The Bearcats open District 8-2A with a trip to City View on Friday, Jan. 11. Game Time is 8 p.m. The junior varsity boys begin at 5:30 p.m.
