Velma “Cutie” Woods, 85, of Henrietta, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, in Henrietta.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 8 at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Wood of Bowie officiating. Burial will be Hope Cemetery under the direction of Davis Funeral Home of Henrietta.

Mrs. Woods was born May 6, 1927 in Boswell, Okla., to William LaFayette and Ester Marie (Adair) Parish. She married James Wyett Woods in November 1944 in Henrietta. She was a homemaker and a caretaker and a member of Sunnyside Baptist Church in Wichita Falls.

Survivors include three daughters, Jeanette Labs and husband Richard of Muldrow, Okla., Patricia Norris and husband Ron of Bonanza, Ark., and Tammy Holding Fields and husband Nathan of Henrietta; two sons, Billy Woods and wife Brenda of Belton, Mo., and Ricky Woods and wife Sheryl of Fort Smith, Ark.; one brother, Oscar “Pete” Parish of Wichita Falls;18 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Family visitation will be at Davis Funeral Home from 7-8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7.
