Lady Cats provide for family through ‘Hoops for Help’ project


Members of the Henrietta varsity and JV Lady Cats raised $250 through bake sales to purchase Christmas gifts and groceries for a Henrietta family. The community service project is called “Hoops for Help.”

Henrietta’s varsity and junior varsity Lady Cats raised money through bake sales and gathered donated items to help out a Henrietta family at Christmas.

Through the community service project, titled “Hoops for Help,” the high school athletes raised $250 with two bake sales, held at home basketball games. Hoops for Help provided Christmas gifts and groceries for a single mother with three small children.

Varsity Lady Cats are Annelise Sauer, Cheyenne Barry, Katie Jo Blanscet, J.J. Ramos, Taylor Burch, Cassie Pickett, Anni Scholl, Addison Wade, Andi Stewart, Sierra Burkhart and Kamryn Weaver. JV Lady Cats are Brooke Hoff, Jessica Mabry, Sarah Francisco, Sara Mayes, Bree Pollan, Addie McDonnell, Callie Page, Lacey Webb, Katelyn Bowles, Mikayla Taylor and Lindsey Crafton.
