Henrietta Care Center’s resident Christmas party was Thursday, Dec. 13 at 6 p.m. Almost every resident had family members that were able to attend. Mr. and Mrs. Claus showed up at 6 on-the-dot and passed out gifts to the residents and posed for pictures in the front lobby for anyone who wished to have a picture with them. Dan Webb and Friends came and provided musical entertainment for the residents and guests. Everyone had a great time socializing and celebrating the Christmas season. We are very fortunate to be able to have all of these wonderful people right here in Clay County to celebrate with us. Thank you to everyone who takes part in making our celebrations successful.
A special thank you goes to the Henrietta Cowboy Church WINGS group. They call BINGO each and every Friday. They all pass out special gifts to every resident. They brought shawls and lap robes with the residents name embroidered on it for everyone living at Henrietta Care Center. What a wonderful gift! Everyone is thoroughly enjoying their special gifts. Thank you WINGS group; Merry Christmas and God bless.
Thank you to the W.M.U. Group from the First Baptist Church in Jolly for the donation you made to our resident Christmas fund. This annual donation is greatly appreciated and is very helpful in getting gifts for our residents. We appreciate you more than you know.
We would also like to thank the Gail Ellege and the Ruth Bethany Sunday School Group from the First Baptist Church of Petrolia for giving tissues, emery boards and a nice Christmas card to each resident. Thank you for your thoughtfulness, your generosity means so much to everyone at HCC.
On behalf of the residents and staff at HCC, we wish our volunteers, our church groups, and our community a safe and merry Christmas and a healthy and happy New Year. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers, and may God continue to open your hearts up to us. We appreciate and love all that you do including your visits, your services, and your caring attitude. We are blessed by each and every one of you.
The employees thank Kathy Steele from the Cowboy Church WINGS group for the homemade cookies, bread, and other treats that she gave to the staff and Bill Davis for the ham he donated for the employee Christmas party.
We hope everyone has a very merry Christmas. We also hope your new year will be a healthy and a safe one. May God bless each and every person who took time to volunteer your time, come by and visit, donate, or support us in any way this year. We truly appreciate you and would not have such a blessed home without the time you spend with us. We feel our residents’ quality of life has so much more value with you in it. We are very fortunate to have your involvement. Thank you again.
