Anni Scholl and Annelise Sauer finished Tuesday night’s matchup in Electra with double-digit scoring as Henrietta’s Lady Cats earned a 59-44 win over the Lady Tigers.
Scholl led the team with 13 points, including four-of-four from the free throw line, and in rebounds with seven. Scholl had four steals and joined Sauer and Cheyenne Barry with three assists each.
Sauer scored 11 points, including two three-pointers, while Barry scored nine points and came away with four rebounds. Cassie Pickett scored seven points and took four steals. Sierra Burkhart and Katie Jo Blanscet had five points each. Blanscet also had five rebounds. Kamryn Weaver scored three points, while J.J. Ramos, Taylor Burch and Andi Stewart scored two points each.
As a team, Henrietta hit eight of 14 from the free throw line.
The Lady Cats scored 18 points in the second quarter to build on an early lead. Henrietta outscored Electra 15-13 in the first period, and limited Electra to 10 points in the second. Henrietta beat the Lady Tigers 15-11 in the third and 11-10 in the fourth quarter.
The JV Lady Cats fell to Electra 28-22. Brooke Hoff led the team with 12 points.
