Our Resident Christmas Party is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 13 at 6 p.m. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be in attendance. They will pass out gifts and take pictures with the guests and residents. Dan Webb and friends will provide musical entertainment. Family and friends are welcome to come by and wish our residents and staff a Merry Christmas. We look forward to seeing you at the party. It is always a joy to have guests in our facility!
Henrietta Care Center is constantly grateful for our spectacular volunteers. Our standout volunteers this holiday season include Henrietta First Baptist’s youth group that came out Thursday the 6th at 4 p.m. and visited one-on-one with our residents. Another group deserving of recognition is the First Baptist’s GA group who came out and decorated the resident’s doors and brought Christmas cards and gifts to the residents. Also, the Brownie Troop 8515 came to HCC and entertained the residents by singing Christmas songs and passing out homemade Christmas cards and stuffed animals. The Henrietta Cowboy Church sing-along group came by and sang Christmas carols. The Joy Baptist Church also volunteered by bringing a group of children to HC to sing and pass out bags of candy. We are deeply honored to have these groups involved in our facility, and the residents’ holiday season is very joyous due to all the wonderful visitors.
We also want to remind all of our regular volunteers that we appreciate your commitment to the residents throughout the year. You touch many lives in a very special way. We are truly blessed by your presence. The area churches, the Cowboy Church sing-along group, the Cowboy WINGS program, Kathy Talley, Sarah Sears, Jane McRoy, Margie Battle, Ruth Lemond, Alice McEntee, Henrietta Floral, and VFW Women’s Auxiliary Group are all people that we devote time to our residents. Thank you to each of you.
Have a great week and thank you to everyone in Clay County for all of the assistance and support you provide to Henrietta Care Center.
