Women’s Aux. hosts party

By Ashley Crownover

Henrietta Care Center’s resident birthday party was held Friday, Nov. 30. It was hosted by the VFW Women’s Auxiliary Post 5401. We appreciate you so much. The fresh, homemade desserts are awesome. Also, thank you to everyone who comes out and helps the residents celebrate. This monthly party is something that the residents look forward to and enjoy.

The GAs from the First Baptist Church of Henrietta came out Nov. 28 to decorate doors and hand out homemade Christmas cards. The residents love their doors and the cards were wonderfully made. Thank you!

The Cowboy Church held a Christmas sing-along at HCC on December 1st. A great time was had by all.

The Joy Baptist Children’s group is scheduled to sing and hand out goody bags during the month of December. We are looking forward to this.

A special thank you goes to our community for your constant support. We are truly blessed to have the volunteers and the church groups that take the time to come to the facility. Your time and thoughtfulness is greatly appreciated. Have a wonderful, blessed, and merry Christmas!

Thank you Don’ner Smyers for your donation. Thank you very much for thinking of us. We are very grateful for your thoughtfulness.

Kitty Schindler brought a collection of magazines to HCC for our residents. We are all very thankful.

Also, we would like to remind you that our Christmas party is on the 13th at 6 p.m. We would love for you to join us.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Laurence Hogan. He will truly be missed. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of his life. We are fortunate to have known him.

Thank you so much for your continued support and loyalty. Have a wonderful week!
