Annelise Sauer, Ethan Cantrell, Cheyenne Barry and Connor Kirby of the Henrietta FFA Chapter finished eighth in the Senior Skills Demonstration State Leadership Events held Dec. 1 on the Sam Houston State University Campus in Huntsville.
Henrietta’s Senior Skills Demonstration Team qualified for state competition by finishing second in the Wichita District, and second in Area IV. Over 350 total entries began the statewide-tournament in this event which reflects the classroom instruction in basic leadership skills, which is part of the agriculture, food and natural resources curriculum. There are 57 districts in the state, making up 10 regions.
