Bellevue earned a 63-37 win over Notre Dame Tuesday night, improving the Lady Eagles to 7-2 for the season.
The win came on a big first half, in which the Lady Eagles outscored the Lady Knights 18-6 in the first quarter and 19-4 in the second. Both teams scored 13 in the third and Notre Dame put up 14 to Bellevue’s 13 in the fourth.
Emily Barnett led the scoring effort with 14 points, including three three-pointers and four of four from the free throw line. Hannah McWilliams and Cassidy York with 10 each. Bailey Terry scored nine points. Destiny Watkins and Amber Bush scored six points each. Kayla Specht, Kim Morrow, Devon Cassetty and Tori Woods added two points each.
Barnett led the team in rebounds with seven, followed by Terry with six. Bush and McWilliams had four rebounds each.
Bellevue took a 50-46 loss to Archer City in the Fantasy of Lights tournament on Saturday, Oct. 24. With the win, Archer City claimed third place in the bracket.
Barnett led the Lady Eagle effort with 17 points, including three threes, followed by Terry with 15. Watkins and Bush scored four points each and York added three. Bailey Schroeder scored two points and Morrow hit a free throw.
