JV Bearcats 4-0 with City View tournament championship

With a tournament championship earned Saturday, Henrietta’s JV boys’ basketball team has kicked off the season at 4-0.

The JV Bearcats opened the 2012-13 season Tuesday, Nov. 13 with a 57-7 win over Archer City. Tanner Ramos and Nick Offield led the team with 11 points each, followed by Logan Carter with nine, Cody Fletcher with eight and Keaton Davis with seven points.

Henrietta opened the City View tournament with a 63-42 win over Vernon, led by Ramos with 18 points. Riley Watson scored 13, followed by Daniel Wilson with 12 and Offield with 10 points.

Henrietta topped Iowa Park 45-33 in the second round. Offield scored 14, followed by Watson with 11 and Ramos with seven points.

Ramos scored 24 points in Henrietta’s 71-38 championship win over the Wichita Falls High freshman team. Offield added 11 points and Carter scored three points. Henrietta opened the game with a 21-3 run.

Every player scored during the tournament.
