Nick Powell scored 24 points Friday night to lead the Bearcats in a 29-point win over Iowa Park, 68-39.
Henrietta’s varsity boys outscored the Hawks in all four quarters, and topped 20 points in the third. Henrietta took a 15-8 lead in the first quarter, and outscored Iowa Park 18-10 in the second. In the third, Henrietta posted 22 points to Iowa Park’s nine. Henrietta outscored the Hawks 13-12 in the fourth.
Matthew Reed followed Powell with 12 points, while Cole Burns and Conner Fletcher added 10 each. Ben Fletcher scored nine points and Philip Davis scored three.
Mason Rhodes led Iowa Park with 14 points, followed by Shawn Jackson with 11.
The Bearcats landed eight of 14 free throw attempts. Iowa Park made 10 of 17 from the charity line.
