Lady Cats improve to 2-1 with Friday win over Pilot Point

Henrietta’s Lady Cats held Pilot Point to single digits in two of four quarters Friday night to earn a 17-point win over their opponent.

Henrietta opened with a 20-point first quarter en route to the 56-39 win, while allowing 13. The Lady Cats outscored Pilot Point 10-8 in the second quarter, 13-12 in the third and 13-6 in the fourth.

Anni Scholl led the Lady Cats’s offensive effort, scoring 13 points, followed by Katie Jo Blanscet with 11 points. Cheyenne Barry and Cassie Pickett scored nine points each. Taylor Burch added five points and Andi Stewart scored four.

Barry, Pickett and Stewart were a force under the net with six rebounds each. Pickett finished with five steals, while Scholl had four steals.

With the win, Henrietta improves to 2-1.
