Stefanie Wolf of the Henrietta FFA was one of 60 voting delegates representing Texas at the 85th National FFA Convention, Oct. 22-26, in Indianapolis, Ind.
The National FFA Convention is held each October with nearly 55,000 FFA members and guests from across the country in attendance. Members participate in general sessions, competitive events, educational tours, leadership workshops, a career show and expo, volunteer activities and much more. The delegate’s job is to represent the interests of the more than 86,000 members of the Texas FFA Association.
They are the voice of Texas FFA members at the national level. The delegate process incorporates local and state level issues into a committee process. The representatives who attended the State President’s Conference determined the six delegate issues, which will be considered during the 85th National FFA Convention.
Stefanie was named voting delegate by virtue of being elected an Area IV FFA Vice-President for the 2012-2013 school year. She is a senior at Henrietta High School and is the daughter of Steve and Katie Wolf. Upon graduation from Henrietta she plans to attend Texas Tech University.
