Updated: Lady Cats to face Jacksboro in playoff for third place

Henrietta’s varsity Lady Cats defeated Bowie in three sets Tuesday night, forcing a playoff with Jacksboro for third place in District 8-2A. The match is set for 4:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26 in Windthorst.

Both teams have a 5-5 record in district play. Jacksboro fell to district champion Holliday Tuesday night.

Henrietta defeated the Lady ‘Rabbits 25-12, 25-18, 25-22.

Anni Scholl led the team 11 kills, 20 digs and two aces, while Joyana Zamzow scored 11 kills and one ace. Sierra Burkhart finished with eight kills, Addison Wade had six kills and Taylor Bennett scored five kills. Katie Halsell had 24 set assists and scored two aces, while Annelise Sauer had 24 digs and two aces. Cassie Pickett finished with 15 digs.
