Clay County agriscience students compete in Texoma Beef Clinic



The annual Texoma Beef Clinic was held Saturday, Oct. 20 at the Henrietta High School Perry Woods Agriscience Facility.  The event is hosted by Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, Clay County.

In the Junior Division, the Clay County 4-H team of Jordan Davis, Holt Chambers, Elizabeth Koetter and Bodee Franke placed first.  The Clay County 4-H team of Ashley Riddle, Haleah Harmon, Jayla Thomas and Mason Knight placed third.  Elizabeth Koetter was high point individual.

In the Intermediate Division, the Clay County 4-H team of Conner Chambers, Daniel Koetter, Trey Essler and Ethan Franke placed first.  Daniel Koetter was high point individual.

In the Senior Division, the Henrietta FFA team of Parker West, Kassidy Beeler, Kolton Beeler and Ben Alan Page placed first.  Parker West was high point individual.

Event sponsors included the Clay County Beef Committee, Kerr Feed and Grain, Superior Livestock, Wichita Livestock Sales Company, Waurika Livestock, Legend Bank and First National Bank of Byers.  Cattle suppliers were Robert and Nala Chambers, Jacquetta Graves, Pullen Angus and PSR Simbrah.
