Lady Cats fall to 1-3 with Tuesday loss to Nocona


Henrietta’s varsity Lady Cats volleyball team fell to Nocona Tuesday, 20-25, 17-25, 9-25. With the loss, Henrietta falls to 1-3 in district 8-2A play.

Taylor Bennett led the Lady Cat offense with eight kills, followed by Sierra Burkhart with seven kills. Anni Scholl scored four kills and one ace, while Joyana Zamzow had three kills.

Setters Kailey Kirk and Katie Halsell scored one ace each. Kirk finished with 14 set assists, and Halsell had 12 set assists.

Scholl led the defensive effort with 14 digs, followed by Annelise Sauer with 11 digs and Cassie Pickett with seven digs.
