Holliday sweeps Henrietta volleyball teams in 8-2A action

Holliday earned wins over Henrietta across the board in District 8-2A volleyball Saturday, sweeping the varsity Lady Cats, and both junior varsity teams.

Henrietta’s varsity team fell in three sets, 12-25, 23-25, 21-25.

Anni Scholl and Joyana Zamzow led the Lady Cats with 10 kills each. Scholl also had 13 digs. Taylor Bennett finished the day with four kills and four service aces. Sierra Burkhart had three kills. Setter Katie Halsell put up 17 assists, while Kailey Kirk had 12 set assists. Annelise sauer, playing libero, had 20 digs, followed by Cassie Pickett with 14 digs.

Henrietta’s JV “A” team fell 21-25, 20-25, while the “B” Lady Cats fell 9-25, 5-25.
