Due to the increased interest in the community, Henrietta Elementary School has opened a second class of Pre-Kindergarten and is accepting applications for new students.
To be eligible for Pre-K, a child must be 4 years of age on or before Sept. 1, must be unable to speak and comprehend the English language (limited English proficient); economically disadvantaged (eligible to participate in the National Free or Reduced-Price Lunch Program); homeless; child of an active duty member of the armed forces of the U.S. or a child of a member of the armed forces of the U.S. injured or killed on active duty; or being or having ever been in the conservatorship of the Department of Family and Protective Services.
Parents or guardians wishing to enroll a child in Pre-Kindergarten, must bring the following items to the HES office:
- Social Security Card
- Birth certificate
- Shot record
- Court papers (if applicable—child support information, CPS or custody papers)
- Financial information—(2011 Income Tax Return)
- Proof of TANF or SSI (if applicable)
