Meet the ‘Cats draws Henrietta fall sports fans

Henrietta’s varsity cheerleaders entertain the crowd during Friday’s Meet the ‘Cats event at Bearcat Stadium.

Bearcat fans filled Bearcat Stadium Friday night for the Henrietta All-Sports Club’s annual Meet the ‘Cats event.

Varsity and junior varsity athletes in football, volleyball and cross country, Henrietta High School’s varsity cheerleaders, The Crew, members of the Black Gold Brigade marching band were introduced to fans.

The fall sports season began for Henrietta Friday with the varsity volleyball team competing in the Cool in Boomtown tournament in Burkburnett. Play continues Saturday.

Also on Saturday, Henrietta football hosts Seymour in a scrimmage, beginning at 9:30 a.m.

Henrietta’s cross country season begins Aug. 30 with a meet at the Perkins Scout Camp in Burkburnett.
