Johnston to serve as K-12 principal at Midway


Cherry Johnston

Midway ISD has chosen Cherry Johnston as its new principal for grades K-12.

Johnston has 21 years of experience in education, the last 8 years as the computer teacher and technology director at Midway. Prior to coming to Midway, she was the computer teacher and technology coordinator at Christ Academy (formerly The Episcopal School) in Wichita Falls.

Johnston holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington, and a master’s degree in education from the University of North Texas.
