Linda Brumley VanWinkle, 69, of Wichita Falls, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 10, in the chapel of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Kuykendall, officiating. Burial will be at Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.

Mrs. VanWinkle was born Dec. 15, 1942 in Wichita Falls to the late Pat and Ruby Osa (Calhoun) Brumley. She was a homemaker.

She is also preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Brumley.

She is survived by her husband, B.J. “Rip” VanWinkle; four daughters, Fonda Few and husband Kyle, Kimberly Boggs, Shelly Johnson and husband Pete, and Regina Tatum and husband Gary, all of Wichita Falls; a son, Bobby VanWinkle and wife Debbie of Wichita Falls; three brothers, Joe Brumley and wife Carol of Phoenix, Ariz., Buck Brumley of Wichita Falls, and J.W. Brumley of Plano; four sisters, Dela Edgemon of Wichita Falls, Patsy Corley of Henrietta, and Betty Romines and husband Tom of Henrietta, and June Blaylock of Wichita Falls; 15 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
