Petrolia residents were without power Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning after a strong thunderstorm roll through northern Clay County.
A representative of Texas New Mexico Power expected power to be restored by 2:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Texas New Mexico Power first said service would be restored by 9:30 p.m. Thursday, but discovered a power line pole would have to be replaced.
The storm brought rains and winds with gusts in excess of 50 miles per hour.
