Barbara Mayberry, 71, of Henrietta, passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2012 in Denton.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012 in the Graves Cemetery in Jack County, with Brother Jim Strickland, pastor of the Texoma Cowboy Church in Wichita Falls, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis Funeral Home of Henrietta.

Mrs. Mayberry was born Nov. 19, 1940 in Jack County to S.T. and Ruby (Bilbury) McKenzie. She married Bruce Mayberry on June 1, 1959 in Iowa Park, and was a member of the Pleasant Valley Church in Iowa Park. Mrs. Mayberry was retired from the Civil Service at Shepherd Air Force Base.

She is preceded in death by a brother, Billy; sister Betty Olscher and brother-in-law Jerry Olscher; sister Sandy Stephens; and a niece, Debbie Olscher.

Survivors include her husband Bruce Mayberry of Henrietta; a daughter, Becky Gray and husband Greg of Henrietta; two sons, Stan Mayberry and wife Cheryl of Wichita Falls, and Shane Mayberry of Henrietta; a sister, Linda Santa Anna and husband Don of Winnsboro; two sister-in-laws, Loretta Montgomery and husband Don of Azle, and Wanda Thompson of Bowie; two brother-in-laws, Tommy Mayberry and wife Beverly of Wylie, and Roy Lynn Mayberry of Henrietta; nine grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.

The family will be at Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m.
