Employee, Provider of the Month

By Ashley Crownover

Our monthly potluck meal was Friday the 13th at noon. We had ham salad, chicken salad, garden salad, three bean salad, and watermelon. The food was delicious, and everyone had a great time. Thank you to everyone who came out and joined us. Visitors are loved and appreciated. If you have not made it to a meal yet, be sure to stop by next month. We will update you in a few weeks on the date and menu.

Congratulations to our Employee of the Month, Valerie Horton, LVN and to our Care Provider of the Month, Erika Morales, CNA.

Our deepest sympathies are extended to Carla Davis. We will all miss Ted greatly. We are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time in your life.

Henrietta Care Center’s NStep program is still progressing wonderfully. We will have brochures with information on the program to hand out soon. We are beyond excited to get our first patient enrolled in the program! You can visit www.nsteprehab.org for more information on the rehabilitation program. Keep reading our article each week for more updates.

We would like to thank Agnes Sewell for crocheting throws and donating them to the residents at Henrietta Care Center. They are beautiful, and the residents enjoy them. A second thank you goes to Linda Henderson for sewing pillows for crafts. Sylvia Jackson donated jewelry for the country store. Thank you, Sylvia. We really appreciate it. Helen Galliton has stopped by the past two Wednesdays at 11:30 to sing for our residents. She uses her karaoke machine and sings along, and the residents have an absolutely wonderful time listening to her sing. Thank you so much for doing this for us, Helen.

We are very appreciative of our volunteers. We are always looking for new volunteers and new activities. If you are interested in helping, call and let Vickie know at 538-4303.

Have a wonderful week!
