Professional steer wrestler Mickey Gee of Dean is in Alberta, Canada this week, competing in the Calgary Stampede Rodeo.
Gee is competing in Pool B of the tournament-style rodeo July 10-13 for a chance to make Sunday’s finals. The top steer wrestlers from Pool A and Pool B automatically advance to the final, while the rest will compete Saturday for a chance to move on to Sunday’s competition. The winner of Sunday’s final will come home with $100,000.
Pool A competed July 6-9.
