NWS issues Significant Weather Advisory for Clay County


The National Weather Service in Norman, Okla., has issued a significant weather advisory for Northwestern Clay County until 1:45 p.m. Monday.

At 12:58 p.m., strong thunderstorms extended from southwest of Henrietta to Petrolia. The storms are drifting south at 5 miles per hour.

Hazards include wind gusts to 50 mph and minor flooding in areas with poor drainage.

Locations impacted include Petrolia, Byers, Jolly and Lake Arrowhead.

Severe weather and warnings are not anticipated at this time.
