A Nocona woman was cited for failure to drive in a single lane following a two-vehicle accident on Hwy. 82 east of Henrietta Friday morning.
The wreck happened as Sandra Dodd, 59, of Ringgold, a rural route mail carrier, attempted to turn into a driveway at the former Lone Star Hereford Ranch near Ringgold. As Dodd turned left from the westbound lane, a 2004 Dodge Stratus driven by Alejandra Millan, 25, of Nocona, struck her 1995 Jeep Cherokee in the driver’s side.
Millan, who was also traveling west, drifted into the eastbound lane, where she struck Dodd’s vehicle. Both vehicles came to a stop in the eastbound median, where Millan’s car crashed into a pipe fence.
Millan had three passenger, Angelina Millan, 57, and two children, ages 5 months and 4 years, all of Nocona. All passengers were in the back seat.
No injuries were reported, but the children were transported to Clay County Memorial Hospital for observation.
The wreck, reported at approximately 9:40 a.m. slowed traffic on Hwy. 82 for about two hours.
