The 97th District Court accepted a plea agreement for DWI third conviction, and issued a judgment revoking community supervision for a registered sex offender Wednesday, June 20.
Jose Carlos Cortez – Driving while intoxicated, third or more offense, a third-degree felony, for a July 21, 2010 incident. Green was sentenced to three years in prison and must pay $40 in restitution.
Jack Briar Hawkins – Community supervision revoked. Hawkins was sentenced to eight years community supervision for indecency with a child, sexual contact, a second-degree felony, on May 3, 2011. Probation was revoked for failing to register a change of address with the Clay County Sheriff’s office. Hawkins with serve two 10-year sentences, to run concurrently.
