That’s when my love for the elderly began,” said Koetter after being presented with the award. “Though I’ve worked in other fields of nursing, my heart is here caring for our residents. I am honored to have been voted as Employee of the Year by our residents, their families, and my coworkers.”

“Cassie was awarded our Employee of the Year award last year. We are very thankful to have her as an employee in our facility,” the press release stated. “She is very dedicated to the residents and takes pride in everything she does. We are very lucky to have such a wonderful employee and coworker.”
Sherrill, who works as a certified nurses’ aide on the day shift, came to Henrietta Care Center in July 2009 as a laundry aide.   She enrolled in the Center’s Nurses’ Aide Training Program and became state certified in February 2010.            .
“I love my job and the people I work with and for.  I have wanted to be in nursing since I was a little girl,” said Sherrill after receiving her award.
