Bellevue Class of 2012



Bellevue High School will hold commencement exercises at 7 p.m. Friday, May 25, in the school auditorium.

Science Teacher Amy James will be the speaker. Processional and recessional will be played by Michelle Cassetty. The invocation will be given by Aleshia Lawrence, and the benediction by Trace Garrison. Brittany logan will lead the Pledge of Allegiance and Brady Ford will provide special music.

Valedictorian is Ethan Staley. He is the son of Ricky and Carla Staley of Vashti.

Staley plans to attend Midwestern State University to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering. His career goals are to design and fabricate concepts for production.

Staley participated in basketball, cross country, National Honor Society and FFA. He served two term as president of the Bellevue FFA, and won reserve grand champion in the 2012 Houston Ag Mechanic Show. Staley was an ag mechanics area and state qualifier.

Salutatorian is Colby Hoffman. He is the son of Bryan and Janice Hoffman of Bowie.

Hoffman plans to study diesel mechanics at Lincoln College of Technology, and pursue a career in the oil field or as a diesel mechanic for a dealership.

Hoffman was a four-year member of the FFA, and had perfect attendance.

Class members are Jacob Belcher, Trace Garrison, Colby Hoffman, Aleshia Lawrence, Brittany Logan, Samantha McWilliams, Billy Schmer and Ethan Staley.
