Amnesty week offers chance to return overdue books guilt free

The Edwards Public Library will have Amnesty Week  May 29-June 8, 2012.

Amnesty Week gives patrons a chance to clear any old or new overdue books they have with the Edwards Public Library.  Patrons do this by returning any overdue books, videos and magazines to the library without paying a library fine this week only.  Amnesty Week also gives patrons a chance to clear any old library fines by coming in or calling the library at (940) 538-4791 and asking to be cleared of their library fines without guilt.  The library staff encourages patrons who have any type of overdue library materials to look for them and bring them to the library, during Amnesty Week.

All Clay County residents are urged to come and enjoy their library.
