TPWD seeks hunting leases to provide affordable hunting opportunities

Texas Parks and Wildlife Department is interested in leasing land for hunting dove, waterfowl, pheasant, quail, feral hog, squirrel and rabbits. The length of the lease and price per acre are negotiable. TPWD are most interested in areas of 100 acres or more located with a one hour drive of population centers.

Landowners can support the hunting heritage of Texas and help TPWD offer affordable hunting opportunities for families while earning earning supplemental income.

For more information, email the TPWD at hunt@tpwd.state.tx.us, contact your local county biologist or call the Public Hunting Program at (800) 792-1112, menu 5, selection 1 or (512) 389-4505.
