Billy E. Nichols of Wichita Falls


Billy E. Nichols, 80, died Monday, May 14, 2012 in Wichita Falls.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 17, at the Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park.

Mr. Nichols was born on February 2, 1932 to Roy T. and Annie Nichols. He spent his lifetime in Wichita Falls and surrounding area. He was mostly self-employed. His business ventures included a tile business, farming and commercial and home construction. He and Dolorous “Lois” Nichols were married for almost 60 years.

Survivors include his wife, Dolorous “Lois” Nichols of Wichita Falls; a sister, Louise Kent of Olathe, Kan.; a son, David Nichols and wife Jill; two daughters, Cynthia Gee and husband Johnny of Dean, and Eugenia Clifton and husband Denny; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The family will be from at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 16.
