Obermier, Beeler earn Area FFA Star Awards

Braiden Obermier and Kolton Beeler

The Area IV FFA Association recognized Henrietta FFA member Braiden Obermier as the Area IV Star Lonestar Award winner in Agricultural Placement and member Kolton Beeler as the Area IV Star Greenhand in Production.

Obermier and Beeler were presented the Star Awards based on their overall Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) program and FFA involvement.

Star awards are given at the district, area and state levels. Applicants must have been selected as a star winner from the previous level in order to advance to the next level. These applicants will be advancing to the state level as state finalists.  All Texas FFA Star award finalists will be recognized during convention on stage and presented with a state finalist plaque. The winner is announced at that time and is presented with a $1,000 Dina Wallrath Robertson Memorial Star Award and an additional plaque.
