The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program named Sue Seigler of Henrietta the 2012 Silver Award winner recently.

Seigler is a member of the Clay County Memorial Hospital Ladies Auxiliary, a volunteer organization that provides fundraising for the hospital for more than 35 years.

Seigler joined the Ladies Auxiliary in September 2009, logging more than 970 hours of volunteer work since September 2010. She has logged 702 hours in the last year alone.

Coworkers describe Seigler as a generous, loving, creative and caring lady who goes beyond the call of duty. It has been said that, if asked to bring two cakes to a bake sale, she will bring four.

Sue has been married to Joe Seigler for 40 years, and is the mother of Boyce and Bryce Seigler. Bryce is a registered nurse at CCMH. She has three grandchildren. She is an avid collector of Coca-Cola memorabilia and describes her home at Christmas time as a Coca-Cola wonderland.
