Larry E. Grauerholz of Wichita Falls


Larry E. Grauerholz, 66, of Wichita Falls, died away Saturday, April 21, 2012 in Wichita Falls.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 28, at the Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Wichita Falls, with Rev. Sojan George officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn’s Colonial Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.

Mr. Grauerholz was born June 21, 1945 in Dyersburg, Tenn. to Larry and Ruth Grauerholz. He grew up Graham, graduating from Graham High School. He was advertising salesman for The Wichita Falls Times Record News, The Houston Chronicle and the Springfield, Mo., Leader. He and wife Kim owned a small farm near Henrietta before moving to Mount Vernon, Mo. They later returned to Wichita Falls.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Susan (Norris) Grauerholz of Wichita Falls.

Survivors include wife Kimberley Grauerholz of Wichita Falls; a daughter, Teresa Christine “Bambi” Waggoner and husband Kent of Mount Vernon, Mo.; a step-daughter, Tiffanie Miller; parents Larry and Ruth Grauerholz of Archer County; two brothers, Pat Grauerholz of Golden, Colo., and Rick Grauerholz of Fort Worth; four sisters, Ann Grauerholz of Wichita Falls; Mary Grauerholz of Falmouth, Mass., Sue Grauerholz of Boulder, Colo., and Liz Grauerholz of Orlando, Fla; two grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.
