Leslie Evans, 56, of Henrietta, passed away Thursday April 19, 2012 in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, April 23, at the Cowboy church in Henrietta, with Robert Van Fleet officiating. Burial will be in the Cowboy Church Cemetery in Henrietta, under the direction of Davis Funeral Home of Henrietta.

Mrs. Evans was born Sept. 15, 1955 in Bakersfield, Calif. to Vernon and Margart G. (Massey) Whicker. She married J.D. Evans on Jan. 4, 1992 in Lake Tahoe. She owned and operated an upholstery shop and was a member of the Cowboy Church of Henrietta. She raised 10 children.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Chester; and sister, Sandra.

Survivors include husband, J.D. Evans of Henrietta; two sons, Michael Dean Donathan of Grants Pass, Ore., and Kevin Evans of Payette, Idaho; daughter Michele Deanee’ Moran of Wilmington, Del.; three sisters, Sheila, Sherry, and Pamela; one brother, Tony; and 13 grandchildren.

The family will be at the Davis Funeral Home Sunday from 7-8 p.m.
