Todd Cast and Marty Fischer of “TNT Outdoor Explosion” come to Turkey Fest this year with a combined hunting experience of more than 50 years.
In 2009, “TNT Outdoor Explosion” partnered with Cast of Dreams, allowing terminally ill children a chance to experience hunting the outdoors. TNT invites children to hunt, then airs the episodes on the nationally syndicated program.

Cast has developed quite a strong reputation and following in the outdoor television industry over the past five years. He has over 30 years of experience in the field all across the globe and is known as a worldwide professional hunter. In addition to his lifelong passion for whitetail, Cast has developed an expertise in the international hunting community. He has hunted in New Zealand, South America, Canada, Europe, Africa and in Austria. Todd spent five years guiding turkey and whitetail hunters in Texas and also guided archery hunters in Africa.
Cast is an experienced speaker and has been featured at numerous outdoor events across the country. He loves to share stories and
instruction with fellow hunters and speaks to the outdoor community anywhere from a local church group to Cabela’s.
Fischer is one of America’s best-known outdoor personalities. A graduate of Georgia Southern College, he is seen on national cable television by millions of outdoor enthusiasts and is read by more than a million outdoorsmen each month. His TV credits include time as a shooting professional for “Suzuki Great Outdoors” on ESPN, “Pull: America’s Great Gun Clubs” and “Direct Hit” on OLN, “American Hunter” and Browning’s “The Best There Is” on The Outdoor Channel, Mossy Oak’s “Hunting the Country” and “Remington Country” on TNN, “Sport Shooting America” on Fox Sports South and most recently co-host of the well known outdoor series, “Shotgun Journal” since 1997.
He is a professional wing shooter, National Sporting Clays Association Level III shooting instructor, public speaker and gun club designer. He is widely respected as one of the finest shooting instructors in this country and one of America’s leading gun club design consultants and event managers. To date, he has designed more than 150 sporting clays facilities throughout North America, and has been referred to as “perhaps the most sought after gun club designer in America” by The Knoxville News-Sentinel.
Fischer is an internationally read outdoor writer with columns and/or features in such publications as Quail Unlimited Magazine, Sporting Clays Magazine, Dove Hunter Magazine, Turkey Call, Southern Sporting Journal, Double Gun Journal, Sports Afield, Clay Shooting USA, Gray’s Sporting Journal, Shooting Sportsman, Sporting Classics among others.
Fischer is a five-time competitor in the World Duck Calling Championship in Stuttgart, Arkansas, and was a four-time finalist in that event.
He is an avid whitetail hunter, and he has taken big game, turkeys and birds in more than 30 states and 11 different countries on four continents. Additionally he has owned two field champion Labrador retrievers, including the first chocolate Labrador in history to earn Master Hunting Retriever titles for AKC and NAHRA.
