Five reach plea agreements

Five people plead guilty in the 97th District Court on Monday to various crimes. Three plea agreements resulted in prison sentences.

Robin Kay Austin – Possession of a controlled substance, penalty group one, in an amount greater than one gram and less than four grams, a third-degree felony, for a June 15, 2011 offense. Austin was given a sentence of five years in prison. She wascredited with 110 days served.

Tonya I. Parker – Driving while intoxicated with a child under 15 years of age, a state jail felony, for a Sept. 26, 2011 offense. Parker was given a two-year sentence and fined $1,250. She was credited with two days served.

Martin Dwain Pursel – Driving while intoxicate, third offense, a third-degree felony, for a July 11, 2011 offense. Pursel was sentenced to four years in prison. He was credited with two days served.

Gage Wrayden Cullar – Theft of services more than $1,500, less than $20,000, a state jail felony, for a July 8, 2011 offense. Cullar received two years community supervision and fines $1,000.

John Wade Williams – Engaging in organized criminal activity, a third-degree felony, for a July 8, 2011 offense. Williams received two years community supervision.

Todd Gerald Williams – Engaging in organized criminal activity, a third-degree felony, for a July 8, 2011 offense. Williams received two years community supervision.
