Diana L. Klein of Geronimo, Okla.


Diana L. Klein, 58, of Geronimo, Okla., died on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 19 at First Baptist West of Geronimo with Rev. Harold Gaches, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.

Mrs. Klein was born on March 22, 1954, in Wichita Falls to Glenn and Evelyn (Westmoreland) Stephens. She grew up traveling to many different places with her father’s career in the U.S. Marines. They settled in Petrolia, where she finished school, graduating in 1972. She married Michael Dee Klein on June 6, 1975, in Vernon, and moved to Lawton, Okla., in 1978. After a short time in Arlington, they returned to Lawton in 1980. She worked with her husband at Klein Electric as secretary and bookkeeper for many years. She also owned and operated Tax Plus and worked at Assurant. She sold Tupperware and worked as a manager for many years. She retired to raise her children and care for her family. She was a member of First Baptist West.

She is preceded in death by her father, Glenn Stephens.

Survivors include her husband, Michael Dee Klein of the home; her mother, Evelyn Stephens of Wichita Falls; a sister, Glenda Lee and husband Council of Wichita Falls; a brother, Geoffrey Stephens and wife Wyn Manhattan, N.Y.; nine children, Chris Daniel of Wichita Falls, Raelee Merrill of El Paso, Kaci Lomprey, Brittney Arrowood, and Courtney Rowland and husband Adam, all of Lawton, Okla., Aaron Klein, Jon Klein, Anna Klein, and Irelyn Klein, all of Geronimo, Okla.; and five grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 18 at the funeral home.
